Jeff attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD and graduated with honors in 1992. He received a double major in Business Administration and Spanish. Jeff met his wife Katrina Schwiesow during his time at Augustana and they were married in 1994. Jeff and Katrina take an active role raising their five children Micah 11, Joshua 9, Grace 4, Abe 2 and Benjamin 6 months.

Jeff began his career with Scantron Service Group based in Omaha, Nebraska. For the past 11 years Jeff has taken on a variety of roles in business development and sales management. Like the military, this company moved Jeff and his family as he continued to climb the ladder of success. Moving to larger metropolitan areas like Chicago and Sacramento has given Jeff great perspective of diverse people, politics and business climates. As the lone congressman from South Dakota, Jeff plans to utilize his experience and knowledge of living in these areas and traveling nationwide on business to relate to others and build coalitions in the House of Representatives.

Jeff and Katrina’s love for South Dakota allowed them to convince Scantron to move his business to Rapid City. In addition to a successful business career, Jeff works hard to make a positive difference in his community. For example Jeff serves on the Rapid City Common Council where he is the vice-chair of the legal and finance committee, sits on the wage and benefits committee, serves on the 2012 task force and sits on the Economic Development Board of the Rapid City Chamber of Commerce. In addition to serving the city of Rapid City, he also volunteers for Wilson Elementary School by teaching Spanish to 60 students each week.

Jeff is currently the President of the Black Hills Young Republicans. He is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the YMCA. He is very involved in the lives of his children. For example, he coaches soccer, is a volunteer at the YMCA and is on the PTA. He has volunteered for various political campaigns including Dan Lungren’s campaign for Governor of California in 1998. Additionally, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, being active in sports and outdoor recreation activities in the Black Hills.

Jeff Partridge is ready to go to work for the outstanding people of South Dakota. Working to enhance each South Dakotans quality of life regardless of income, gender, age, ethnicity and religion.
