at Main Street Ministries Every Wednesday at 6:58pm d High School Sunday School meets at 9:45 AM in the HS Pit All are welcome to attend! Led by Kaija Swisher d We have a busy couple of months coming up, the trip to New Orleans is a little more than one year away and fundraising efforts will be shifting into high gear! The following are events for the remainder of the year that we will need your students/parents involvement in. May 31st we will be having a rummage sale at the church. All items are welcome. Please be sure they are clean, and presentable. Any parent involvement with this big task is appreciated. We will need parents to help set up on Friday night as well as help out on Saturday morning with the sale and the clean-up. Pickups will appreciated at the end of the sale! We have at this point close to 15 students planning on attending the Youth Gathering in New Orleans in July of 09. This means at least $15,000 to raise. We have at this point around $ 6-7000. Your students participation in the upcoming events help to cut down on the cost of their out of pocket expenses for the trip. We would like to raise enough so that each student will only have to come up with around $200 for the trip. Due to the fact that New Orleans is a long trip we would like to try and fly if possible for this trip. This is obviously going to take more money! Any ideas you may have to help out with fundraising will be greatly appreciated. I know that spring is a busy time, but the New Orleans trip is a life changing event for your son/daughter. Please encourage them to participate in the upcoming events and encourage them to go to New Orleans. If you have any questions or comments please call me or Pastor Ken.
In his grip.
