Tour Itinerary:The tour includes travel in Ukraine, Crimea, and possibly Moldova. Priority on the itinerary will be given to include as many tour members’ ancestral villages as possible, along with including city tours and various attractions. A final tour itinerary will be provided after arrangements for the tour have been completed in the Ukraine.

Registration:To sign up for the tour, complete the “Ukraine tour Registration Form” and return it, together with a check for $1000 made out to SCHNEIDER LLC. Send the registration form along with the $1000 down payment to: Robert Schneider, 1649 N. 3rd St., Spearfish SD 57783.

Cost of the tour: A tour to Ukraine will cost $2,300 per person, based on double occupancy, plus airfare. Add $350 for a single supplement, if you go as a single. After the initial $1000 down payment, the final payment of $1300 for double occupancy, and the $1650 for a person going as a single, will be due and payable to Schneider LLC three months prior to leaving on the tour. You will need a passport.

Tour members may want bring an additional $500 to use as gratuities for drivers, tour coordinators, interpreters, overnight hosts in the villages and other service providers. Bring enough money to be generous with your hosts and tour personnel. It will be rewarding to you.

Airline Tickets: Airline tickets for the tour should be purchased through Beverly Kelly at AAA Travel, 1700 N. Please check with Bev Kelly as soon as possible about the price of your ticket. Ticket prices will vary according to the city of departure in your area.

Passport: You need a valid Passport to travel outside the country. Apply for your Passport as soon as possible. Information about obtaining your USA Passport is available at your local Post Office. Your passport must be valid for two months after the scheduled end of your tour, and have at least five blank pages.

Visa: Visas are not required for a tourist visit to Ukraine or Moldova

Medical & Trip Insurance: Be sure to check with your insurance agent to find out if your personal health insurance policy covers overseas travel, including Ukraine, and if necessary, Moldova. Ask your insurance agent about the procedures you need to follow in the event of an accident or illness in a foreign country. SCHNEIDER LLC does not provide accident or medical coverage for tour members. It is your responsibility to provide health insurance coverage for yourself during the tour.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: Tour cancellation requests received by SCHNEIDER LLC four months prior to leaving on the tour, will be given a refund, less a $400 non-refundable cancellation service charge. Cancellation requests received 90 days or less before departure date, will incur a cancellation fee of not less than $800.

Cancellation of Airline tickets: Cancellation of airline tickets are separate from SCHNEIDER LLC Tour cancellations, and must be requested through your travel agent, or the airline. Check the airline cancellation policy or ticket insurance when you purchase your airline ticket.

The cost of the tour includes:interpreters, admission to attractions, van transportation, tour guides, hotel rooms, most meals and bottled water while traveling in Ukraine.

The cost of the tour does not include: Gratuities for interpreters and drivers in Ukraine and Moldova or items that you may choose to purchase, such as alcoholic drinks and special order food that is not included with your meal. Those items will be billed to you before leaving the restaurant, or hotel. If you use the telephone or other extra hotel services, you must pay the additional charges. Occasionally, tour members will be requested to leave a tip for service at restaurants or host families in the villages.

Liability Disclaimer: Acceptance by the individual tour member of the services contracted for the tour hereby indicates agreement that SCHNEIDER LLC, or its agents, shall not be liable for injury, sickness, loss, act of omission, or delay due to any act of default by any public carrier, restaurant, hotel, or contractor providing service. SCHNEIDER LLC shall not be liable for any action by a foreign government that is detrimental to a tour member. SCHNEIDER LLC, or its employees, reserves the right to change the itinerary, or substitute services without prior notice, and reserves the right to refuse to accept or retain a tour member at any time.
